Henry Howard Finance were delighted to attend the recent, inaugural ‘Social Healthcare Expo 2012′ in Cardiff. It proved to be an ideal opportunity to meet with businesses wishing to discuss their equipment financing requirements. John Crook, from HHF was extremely busy with attendees and exhibitors keen to investigate how their specific needs can be realised. “It is clear our services are a must for many people I spoke with. Clients were very interested to learn more about how they can fulfil their equipment needs sooner than they think. I’m convinced, with our support their businesses can develop now, rather than waiting for the budget to become available”.

The exhibition provided the opportunity for exhibitors supporting the social and healthcare environment to demonstrate their services.

Following the recent announcement by Henry Howard Finance plc. of increased funding availability, the business has received further encouraging news with the highest level of lending to its clients since March 2008. During March 2012, advances exceeded £4m leaving Henry Howard well placed to achieve its forecast of exceeding £40m of lending during 2012. Managing Director, Mark Crook advised, “we are delighted with this performance and recognise it is a reflection of our offering in the current economic climate. Our clients are keen to develop their businesses and are speaking with us about how we can finance their equipment needs as an alternative to their traditional funding sources.”

Henry Howard Finance has promoted team member, Joe Watkins, to the position of Internal Underwriter to help continue the growth of the company.

Joe will be responsible for assessing the risk of fundamental lending decisions made for existing and new Henry Howard Finance clients. This promotion will provide Henry Howard Finance with the internal resources to necessitate business leasing decisions, resulting in the reduction of external costs and further instilling confidence in its offering and credentials.

Having worked at Henry Howard Finance for five years as an Administrator, Joe’s experience and ability has resulted in his selection in this vital role supporting those SMEs in Wales struggling to secure funding.

Joe is more than pleased with his new position stating, “This is an exciting step for me and I’m looking forward to working with the company in their next stage of growth. I appreciate all the support I have received from the Henry Howard team over the last few years; they have really encouraged me to succeed.”

The promotion will facilitate the expansion of the company’s new division, Henry Howard Direct, which will provide quicker access to direct funding for SMEs wishing to acquire new business equipment. Henry Howard Finance’s decision to expand their offering came about from a desire to work with customers on a one to one basis. It has identified the opportunity to assist current end-user clients to explore any other funding opportunities to develop their businesses.

Jason Davies, Operations Director of Henry Howard Finance, said: “In the current financial climate, many organisations are finding it difficult to secure funding for genuine business needs. Because we are flexible and efficient, in many cases we can offer companies immediate access to equipment they need to enhance their business aspirations”.

In the last financial year, Henry Howard Finance has provided over £30M to SMEs and hopes to increase this to £40M in the forthcoming year.

For further details or to discuss your particular equipment requirement, contact ‘Direct’ on 01633 415 225. We’ll be pleased to assist.

Henry Howard Finance specialises in business leasing ranging from £1K-£100K, with terms from 12-84 months. Agreements are FLA regulated and are of a fixed rate and fixed term.

Henry Howard Finance has secured an extra £4m in funding, allowing it to significantly increase its lending capacity. In the last financial year, the Newport-based business has loaned more than £30m to SMEs and hopes to increase this to £40m in the forthcoming

year. Mark Crook, managing director of Henry Howard Finance, said he believed the company could benefit from a lack of lending from banks.“Despite a real push by the government to encourage high street banks to lend more, it is clear that they have, in fact, shrunk their lending this year,” he added.

Among the many activities such as raffles, sponsorship, baking and donations the highlight of the day was employees Joe Watkins and James Brown dressing-up as Maid Marian and an Elf respectively.

Following the successful installation of new soft play equipment at ‘Wookey Hole’ in Somerset, Director Daniel Medley expressed his satisfaction concerning his dealings with HENRY HOWARD FINANCE and the professional manner in which the £80K plus facility was funded. Having recently become disillusioned with the banks, Daniel was particularly impressed with the management of the funding process. “From the initial introductions, it was refreshing to note the difference in approach. Communication was quick and before I knew it, HHF were advising me to proceed with installation. What a change from my previous experience with finance providers. I can honestly say, I would gladly recommend HENRY HOWARD FINANCE to anyone asking for my opinion. In fact, we are currently speaking to them about further investments – says it all!”.

Wookey Hole is a popular tourist attraction near Wells, Somerset providing a number of attractions including famous caves, a circus, ‘prehistoric ice age valley’, and other family attractions.
