As if to confirm this, data released by the Finance and Leasing Association (FLA), suggests asset finance investment grew by 7% in the 10 months to October 2012 compared with the same period in 2011.

The FLA figures also identified an increase for financing across virtually all sectors for IT, plant & machinery, vehicles and other business equipment; leading to encouraging expectations of continued growth during 2013.

This news is a tonic to UK business confidence as traditional facilities such as mainstream bank lending still show no sign of increasing leading and more companies are turning to leasing business equipment.

When Henry Howard Finance were approached to finance a variety of new petrol pump installations, they were more than pleased to provide the ‘fuel’ to make this happen.

The evening culminated in the presentation of the ‘Best Gulf Site’ Award sponsored by HHF, with the deserving recipient being St Blazey Service Station located in Cornwall; represented on the night by Barrie and Charles Richards.

Eden Farm identified a growing desire from their clients to secure additional freezer equipment increasing the range of frozen food they offered.  Following discussions with Total Refrigeration Ltd (Unilever Group), suppliers of the freezer units and Henry Howard Finance a cost-effective finance option was developed and introduced to Eden clients.

Leading the collaboration for Henry Howard is Sarah Freeman, UK Sales Manager. “Our new partnership demonstrates Eden’s desire to provide their clients with an equipment finance provision to support business growth.  The service allows clients to secure freezer units or other business equipment using our bespoke Vendor finance option.  The big plus is, the process is very easy for the customer and allows equipment to be sourced when it’s needed”.

As part of the partnership, Henry Howard Finance provide a unique ‘Hot-desk’ facility allowing Eden customers to discuss their finance requirements directly and therefore fast-track the ‘application to ordering’ process for the client.

An advertising campaign aimed at 17,000 retailers was launched in early September, which has proved successful, resulting in number of enquiries relating to the finance of freezer cabinets and other equipment needs.

The recent Henry Howard Finance Golf Day really exceeded expectations with the event attracting guests from all over the country to participate in a full day of activity.   In the prestigious grounds of St Pierre Golf & Country, Chepstow, the quality of the golf course was only one of the many ingredients which contributed to making the day a real success.

As one guest commented, “attention to detail is what distinguishes the good from the great” and that was certainly the case by the buzz on arrival, which continued throughout the rest of the day.  The memorable experience of golf and banter was summed up by Managing Director, Howard Ross commenting “we really look forward to days like this, allowing us to meet with some of our clients on a more  informal basis.  Our business thrives on partnerships and these events certainly reinforce the strong relationships that exist.”

The exhibition provided the opportunity for exhibitors supporting the social and healthcare environment to demonstrate their services.
