Internal Account Manager 

Mission:

Support the Sales team to generate business opportunities and increase origination

Responsibilities:

•  Facilitate demonstrations of our proposal system (HowApp)
•  Provide customers with quotes, rate cards and auto quotes
•  Provide write ups for larger deals
•  Process credit applications in line with company policy
•  Book appointments for the Sales Manager and Account Managers as per agreed objectives
•  Call existing base of customers as per agreed strategy
•  Chase accepted and purchase ordered deals in our pipeline to ensure forecast is as accurate as possible
•  Liaise with the Broker team to ensure all RFIs (request for information) are maximised
•  Manage RFIs on a weekly basis to ensure the Sales Support Team are on-top of the pipeline
•  Ensure all sub-commissions are correctly input within HowApp and respective invoices are received in time for accounts to process
•  Support the onboarding of New Vendors
•  Maintain up to date records of activity to ensure the Sales Manager’s forecast is as accurate as possible
•  Maintain communication with assigned customers on at least a monthly basis

Qualifications and Skills:

•  GCSE Maths, English grades A-C (essential)
•  Bachelor’s Degree (desirable)
•  Excellent communicator
•  Excellent interpersonal skills
•  Confident and personable telephone manner
•  Self-motivated and passionate about achieving targets
•  Team player
•  Accurate reporting skills
