Senior Account Manager

Mission

Generate business opportunities to increase business origination

Responsibilities:

•  Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
•  Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
•  Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
•  Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits
•  Manage daily pipeline
•  Organise sales visits
•  Demonstrate and present products
•  Complete customer sign-ups & Asset Inspections where applicable
•  Maintain existing relationships and contacts within current vendors, suppliers, introducers
•  Attend trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
•  Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
•  Liaise with new vendors to complete the onboarding process
•  Maintain accurate records of activity
•  Update systems to record all transaction details (telephone conversations, emails, internal communications) so as all company employees have visibility on next actions required
•  Complete transaction files and communicating requirements in a timely fashion
•  Obtain credit acceptances by liaising with own book and/or HHF panel of funders for transactions
•  Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
•  Forecast and track key account metrics
•  Prepare reports on account status
•  Schedule calling activity to speak with vendor sales people in line with contact strategy agreed
•  Working close with the Sales Manager to help implement sales strategies for existing partnerships & new opportunities
•  Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities

Qualifications and Skills:

•  GCSE Maths, English grades A-C (essential)
•  Bachelor’s Degree (desirable)
•  Excellent communicator
•  Excellent interpersonal skills
•  Confident and personable telephone manner
•  Self-motivated and passionate about achieving targets
•  Team player
•  Accurate reporting skills
